Overview:

This article covers using the Cart Association feature in Xemelgo, which involves associating items with carts, creating new carts, scanning job numbers, managing items within the cart, marking issues, and subscribing to Shipment Issue Alerts.

Instructions:

To group items together in a cart using the cart association feature, tap Cart Association under the Onboard your shipments section of the Shipments user interface.

Next either search or scan for the Cart Identifier.

Then tap on the cart you want to associate your items with.

If you do not see the cart you are looking for, tap Create a new cart.

Next, enter or scan the cart's new Cart Identifier

Then tap Create cart.

Once the cart is created, the user will be presented with an empty cart, ready for items to be added.

Once you have selected a cart, the Job Numbers already associated with that cart will be displayed.

To onboard items to the cart, tap Scan to add.

This will open your device's camera and allow you to scan for the Job Number.

Users have the option to Clear or Remove items before adding them to the cart.

To finish adding items to the cart, tap Save.

Note: If an item is already added to another cart, you will be alerted to which cart that item is already in. Users still have the ability to confirm that the item will be moved from a different cart into the cart you are working on.

Once the Job Number is scanned, it will be listed under the Job Number table associated with the cart.

An item can be removed from the cart by tapping on the item from the list.

Then tap Remove from the options displayed.

If an item has an issue that a user would like to mark and notify others about, tap the item from the list.

Then tap Item has issue.

From there, select an issue from the options displayed.

Then enter any additional comments and tap Save.

Note: Users can subscribe to Shipment Issue Alerts to be notified every time an item is marked with a shipment issue.
