Overview:

The Goods Receipt feature is a powerful tool that automates the process of receiving and managing goods, providing enhanced stock visibility, and ensuring accurate inventory management. By efficiently tracking the receipt of goods using the Xemelgo app, you can streamline your operations and maintain an up-to-date stock inventory.

When goods are delivered to you, it is crucial to receive them promptly. The Xemelgo app simplifies this process, allowing you to record the receipt of goods and instantly update your stock availability. As items are onboarded, they become visible in your warehouse, providing real-time visibility into your inventory.

Instructions:

Tap Goods Receipt under the Onboard your tags section of the Inventory user interface.

Tap Add New Items.

Tap the location the items need to be onboarded to.

Note: If a specific facility has been assigned to the user by the admin, only that facility will be visible here.

Then, the Xemelgo app will automatically establish a connection to the RFID handheld device you are using.

Note: If the RFID handheld device you are attempting to use has not been onboarded to the Xemelgo app before, please consult the Onboarding an RFID Device section of the Xemelgo knowledge base.

Position the RFID handheld reader above a box full of items to be onboarded and press the trigger on the handheld.

The UPCs (unique numbers associated with a particular product) will begin appearing on the screen as the handheld reads the tags of all the items in the box.

The user will also be able to see the Quantity of each UPC in that specific box, located under Count.

The user has the option to clear specific UPCs in case they scanned the tags by accident or want to disregard those UPCs.

If the count of items in the app UI does not match the inventory count, the user can Clear the UPCs and scan again.

NoteClearing specific UPCs will still allow the user to continue to scan tags.

The items have now been successfully onboarded into the system and the user can maintain count of specific UPCs moving forward.
