Overview:
The verification process allows receivers to verify items as they are received at the facility. Receivers can also mark issues with the item if they find any, which will alert other stakeholders in real time.
Instructions:
To access the shipment verification feature, tap Shipment Verification under the Manage your shipments section of the Shipments user interface.
Next, select the Facility and which Cart the user is verifying.
After selecting both the Facility and Cart, tap Next.
Note: When selecting the cart, the user can also choose to scan the barcode or QR code.
Next, you will be presented with a list of items to verify.
Items under the In Transit header include items that are In Staging and In Transit.
Before the user can move forward to the next step, all items under In Transit must be accounted for, whether they are marked as received or missing.
To mark an item as received, tap Mark as Received.
If an item is missing, either it is still in transit or it has been received but not on the cart, the user can mark the item as missing. These items will not be part of the verification process and can be handled after.
To mark an item as missing, tap Mark as Missing.
Note: When an item goes missing or is found, you will receive a notification if you are subscribed to Missing Item Alerts.
If the user is having trouble looking for an item, they can search for it using the handheld RFID reader.
In order to locate an item, users can tap on the item, and then tap Find Item, which will launch the Search and Find feature.
If during the process of verification, the item is found, the user can still mark the item as found so that it can be verified.
To mark an item as found, tap Mark as Found.
To confirm that the item has actually been found, tap Yes.
Once the receiver has completed verifications for that cart, they can choose to Verify Another Shipment and go through the verification for another cart.
If they are already done, they can select Review Verifications and proceed with the final review.
The final page shows a list of all the items that were marked with an issue and manually received to remind the user what actions they took. Those items, along with all the other items that were in the list, will be verified as received as part of this process.
Before you can submit the verification, you must enter your Initials.
To finish the verification process, tap Submit Verification.
Note: Items that are missing are not included in this list, and will not be verified.
Note: Users have the ability to subscribe to Shipment Verified Alerts to receive a notification every time a user completes the shipment verification process.
