Search for Orders

Overview:


This article provides detailed instructions on how to search for and manage work orders, including viewing details, expediting, editing, updating location, and marking as completed. 


Instructions:


To search for a work order, tap Search under the Looking for something? section of the Orders user interface.


Next, enter the work order ID or Tag Number into the text field. 


Then tap on the work order you were searching for. 

Once you have selected a work order, the Order Number, Tag Number, Due Date, Location, Last Updated, PO Number, and Customer information will be displayed.


If you want to expedite this work order, swipe right next to Expedite.


Note: Users can subscribe to Expedited Alerts to receive a notification every time an order has been marked as expedited.

To edit work order details, tap the "..."


Then tap Edit Order.

If you scroll up on your device's screen, a table titled Order Route will be displayed which shows the Stage and the Duration the work order spent at each stage. It also shows the Order Progress.


Note: Users can subscribe to Idle Alerts to receive a notification every time an order has been sitting at a location for an extended period of time. 


To update the work order's current location, tap Update Current Location.


Then select a location from the Blue dropdown under Adding Location and tap Save.


If you are having trouble locating the work order, tap Find to connect to an RFID handheld device.


Note: If the RFID handheld device you are attempting to use has not been onboarded to the Xemelgo app before, please consult the Onboarding an RFID Device section of the Xemelgo knowledge base.


To mark a work order as completed, tap Mark as Completed.


To confirm that the work order has been completed, tap Yes, Mark As Completed.
