Navigating the Inventory Dashboard

Overview:


This article guides users on how to navigate and utilize the Xemelgo Inventory dashboard effectively. It covers understanding inventory health metrics, filtering options, global search, sorting, viewing items by location, and exporting data as CSV. Additionally, it mentions subscribing to stock and expiration alerts for proactive inventory management.


Instructions:


Once you log in, you will see our main dashboard page for inventory, which shows how much inventory is in stock at each location, and the overall metrics.


Understanding Health Metrics:


The metrics on the donut chart show what item types are in stock (Green), low stock (Yellow), or out of stock (Red) given the filter. Below the donut chart, a list presents comparable metrics for each location. Notably, the location with the most critical condition is highlighted at the top of the list. This arrangement ensures that the location with the lowest stock condition is prominently visible. 



Filtering Inventory through Text:


Users can enter any text into the text filter bar to filter the inventory.



Filtering Inventory by Location, Lot #, Item Type, or SKU:


Users can filter by Locations or SKU. 



Global Search:


Users can instantly search for any item by using the global search at the top. Users can search using the RFID Tag Number.



Sorting Inventory View:


Users can sort their inventory by Item or SKU.



Inventory can also be sorted by Stock Health or Expiration Health.



Viewing Items in a Facility:


To view items that are at a specific location in your facility, click the Dropdown to the Left of the Name of the Facility. 



Next, all Locations associated with the Facility will be displayed. Users have the ability to sort locations alphabetically (both ascending and descending) by clicking Sort Locations By: A-Z.



To view the items at a particular location within the facility, click the Dropdown to the Left of the Location Name


Note: Make sure the Facility Name in the parentheses is correct.



Now all SKUs and the Description, UOM, On Hand Quantity information associated with the SKU will be displayed. Users will also see when the information was Last Updated.



To close out all the sections expanded, click Collapse all locations.



Exporting Data as CSV:


If you want this data as a CSV file, click Export as CSV.



Note: Users can subscribe to Stock Alerts to receive a notification every time an item's stock is low.


Note: Users can subscribe to Expiration Alerts to receive a notification every time an item is about to or has expired.
